Transmittal of Gonorrhea or other STD

Hi, This might sound like a silly question, but it may be more silly to go and see my doctor about it, I'm not sure. Just recently I was in the hot tub with a few friends. Later I found out that there is a chance that one of them might have had Gonorrhea or other STD. Knowing that Gonorrhea is a disease that causes a discharge, is it possible for the infection to travel from one person to another if the infected person happened to experience a disharge while in the water. The person who is suspected to have had this desease DID have underwear on, and was not nude, but again, I can't help but to worry, especially because I think that bacteria thrives in warm temperatures and I don't know enough abou it to really say...

No it is not possible to get a STD that way. Trich is the only STD that can be passed in a hot tub or a dirty towel or other methods like that so while it is a STD it's also not a STD. And Trich is very very hard to get even when having unprotected sex.
