Trich

by foxy41283, Jul 30, 2008 04:50PM
i started itching at first for about two weeks i itched. The itching stopped and the i started having a yellow-green thick and slimy discharge that had a very pungent smell. I went to the doctor about four weeks after i realized the symptom weren't getting any better. I did a Vaginal Smear and the lab test came back that i had Trichomonas. I was placed on Sporasec for three days and the symptom did not fade. I was then placed on metronidazole 500mg. the medication is now finished and the symptoms still persist. What next would you suggests?

I would retest to make sure that's all you have, and if it is, ask your doctor about a new medication called tindamax.  Some trich strains are resistant to older meds, and this can work better.
