Trichomonas and HPV

I have been married to the same man for 32 years.  In 1988, after 8 years of marriage, I was diagnosed with Trichomonas and we were both treated with Flagyl.  In 2004, I was diagnosed with HPV.  I know that I have not had sex with anyone other than my husband. My husband has sworn for 32 years that he has not had sex with any other person.  Prior to our marriage, it was discovered that I had been exposed to DES when my mother was pregnant.  My husband was treated for epiditymitis while in his teens, before we were married.  I have no reason to think that my husband has cheated.   How did I get these two STD's?

Trich can be transmitted from non-sexual means but with HPV also, but I am almost certain that HPV would have had to come from someone else. Post in the HPV forum for more info on HPV and transmission.
