Trichomoniasis came back after treatment

I had sex 2 years ago and the symptoms appeared 2 or 3 days after that. The doctor gave me a dose of ampiciline, metrodinazol suppositories and tablets for 7 days. And I didnt drink any alcohol nor did I have sex. But the symptoms came back after a couple days. And now I recently finished the second treatment. It was for 10 days and he gave me suppositories and a cream for the itchyness. I dont understand why it keeps coming back if I hadnt had sex since It.

Why don't you just go ahead and get tested for everything in case you've misdiagnosed yourself so you can get the proper medication.

Was it confirmed that you still have trich through a recent urine test?

Trich rarely causes symptoms so good chance you have something else causing the issue this time around.
