Trichomoniasis

my wife just got diagnosed with Trichomoniasis
but we both have been faithful
I had it about 6 years ago.
Is it possible the drugs we took did not take care of it the first time?
also, is this just a male-female disease
or can it be spread from male to male through oral sex?

I don't think many wives would understand about anything sexual outside of a relationship. My advice to you is to test. If you are clear then it is proof that it is not a new infection from you and that it either did not clear 6 years ago or that she got it from some other means.

Thanks for your help
I do not wish to tell my wife about the oral engagement. she would not understand and our marriage would be in jeopardy

at the same time, this issue is causing a lot of anxiety and pain in our relationship. it's bringing back bad memories of what I did 6 years ago

No there are no Dr's in this section. You have to pay for there advice.
Everything I have ever read is trich is not a concern with oral sex, and I have never seen the Dr's in the expert forum on this site say trich is a risk with oral sex.

I went to another site and someone told me it was possible to spread it male-male through oral.

I have never heard of trich infect the mouth/throat so I think you can rule the male-male transmission out. It is possible that it was not cleared up from 6 years ago, and it is also possible that she got it some other way (sex with someone else, using a dirty towel, using something else that had trich on it, hot tub) Too many women have posted in here saying they know they didnt get it from sex for trich to me labeld just a STD.
