UTI/ Prostatitis symptoms? What should I do ?

A week ago I had my first oral ever. It was only about a minute long and I didn't ejaculate. The girl who performed it is still a virgin and has only performed oral on ONE OTHER person other than me.

About 30 minutes after, my testicles started to hurt. At first I thought it was "blue balls" because I hadn't ejaculated.

The symptoms are:
        My perineum feels swollen.
        My testicles hurt.
As a result, feels awkward to sit (feels like sitting on something)

The symptoms peaked about 2 days after the oral sex. A week later, the symptoms are much better, but still feel the perineum swollen. Could this be prostatiitis caused by a UTI?

I have called my family physician to make an appointment and the earliest time I can get checked is on Monday (in 6 days).

Should I wait out these 6 days, or what else should I do? I'm very anxious and worried.

Thanks for any responses :)

I agree with Noworries, that no STD is likely -- and if your partner's sexual history is accurate, there is no realistic chance she had an oral STD. I'm pretty certain you have no infection of any kind. First, no infection can start to cause symptoms 30 minutes after exposure; 36-48 hours is the minimum. Second, the symptoms aren't typical for any STD or other infection. Instead, they are sound like the physical manifestations of anxiety. When the expert STD forum was active, Dr. Handsfield used to refer frequently to "genitally focused anxiety". Consider browsing or searching that forum about it; your symptoms sound pretty much identical to what he used to describe.

Hi dave,

Assuming you live in a developed nation, your risk is super low for STD's.

I had pretty much the same exposure, and I'm getting tested very soon. I'm not worried though, because the chances of being harmed from oral sex are incredibly low. From what you describe maybe it could mechanical trauma that it causes your problems. Or perhaps normal mouth bacteria, which if it is this normal mouth bacteria it'll almost always resolve itself.
Theres millions of people getting oral all the time man. All it takes is a change of perspective to understand that you'll be okay.

Stop worrying.

Your risk for HIV is non-existent.
