Unexplained STD?

Hi,

Thanks in advance if anyone can provide further advise. And thanks for just listening.  I'll try and be short and summarize in chronological order.

- Mid Sept. 2009: Sexual encounter with prostitute where I was involved in UNPROTECTED oral sex (I gave her cunnilingus, anilingus) and PROTECTED intercourse.
- A few days later developed very sore throat.  Painful to swallow. 8/9 small round white deposits on my throat.
- Visited doctor, described problem and was prescribed amoxicillin.  Took the antibiotic and infection was ok in a couple of days. Told to return if any problems followed.
- Feeling of malaise / general tiredness a week later. (Also started a new stressful job in Sub Sahara Africa)
- Visited new doctor. Tested myself for HIV,HepatitisB/C, Chlamydia 3 weeks after incident.  All negative.
- Since then I have experienced diarrhea, slight fever every 2-3 weeks until now.
- In January 2010, experienced joint-pain in thumb. Visited doctor and tested for HIV, HepatitisB/C, Chlamydia, Syphillis.  All negative.
- Few days later, developed rash in area between scrotum and legs (both sides). NOT on the scrotum. NOT on the PENIS. Visited Doctor, explained history. He said it was ring worm.  Prescribed Anti-fungal cream.  It worked, but now the rash seems to be slowly returning.

Please help, I do not know what to do.  I fear there may be some infection that is causing my recurrent bouts of diarrhea/slight fevers every 2-3 weeks since the incident.  No known medical history and am in reasonably good shape. 30 year old male.  The last time I got a fever / diarrhea, it was accompanied by a sore throat and a slight feeling of heartburn.  And is it a coincidence that I got ringworm now?  Ive never experienced ringworm my whole life! Am I being a hypochondriac?  Should I re-do my tests?  Each time I talk to a Doctor, they tell me they think that it is not an STD.  Advise needed. Thanks!  Ive been pretty stressed every day for the last 3 months.

Symptoms have nothing to do with a STD. Tests are conclusive. Not sure exactly what is going on but it is not STD related. Advice is to keep working with your Dr.

Anyone? Can you suggest any other STD or infection I should check for?  Could I be mis-interpreting the symptoms?

By the way, I also tested for Gonorrhea (using swab in my throat).  Non reactive result.
