Unprotected Oral Question

Good Morning,

I went out and made a huge mistake about 11 days ago, and am curious about my risk.  I had unprotected oral sex with a prostitute.  Don't know why...impulsive, I guess.  I do not have any dripping or anything, not does it hurt bad when I pee...but I do have slight urethral discomfort.  I have been feeling down there for a drip or other symptoms, so is it possible that I am irritating myself, and this has nothing to do with an STD?  What do you think?  P.S...I am married and have not had unprotected sex with my wife...about when should I not worry about the risks and continue my sex life...thanks guys.

Congrats, you sound like one of the lucky ones.  Some of us on the forum haven't been so lucky, but after 3 weeks with no symptoms, I would definitely say you are in the clear.  Now be the best husband you can be to your wife and never take her for granted again.

Sorry I had to throw that in there, but it comes from my own experience!  Good luck and I'm glad we won't be seeing you around the forum any longer.  In this instance it's a good thing when people don't come back.

Just to ease my mind...its been three weeks and no symptoms of anything after receiving oral....they would have shown up by now, right?  And would you say that if they havent shown up yet that I, more than likely, am cool?

So, more than likely, my slight discomfort has nothing to do with the common std risks?

Over all the risk is low and not much of a concern. It is up to you how you want to take it forward. Some people choose to test to make sure, others will accept the low risk and not worry about it. If you got symptoms probably would have started.
