Unprotected Oral Sex, and the symptoms are making me scared to death
Yes, I am one of those annoying anxiety filled people who is having a heart attack about this. But I need advice on this before I go to my local clinic tomorrow. I had unprotected oral sex 5 days ago with a young woman (20 years of age) who I met for the first time (I am 23). She didn't have any visible sores and since the moment she and I had unprotected sex I have been paranoid.
Well, about 3-4 days later I felt a very slight irritation/burning sensation beneath the head of my penis. I don't feel any pain or burning when I urinate, but it's an on and off cool burning feeling under my head. I read that oral sex has low risk, but then earlier tonight I looked underneath the head of the penis and I noticed a tiny red bump and when I squeezed it water like material came out. I keep squeezing and more and more stuff comes out. I will get checked out asap, but I am having a heart attack. Can this be oral herpes? I asked the girl if she is clean and she told me she got tested 3 months ago and hasn't been active at all since, we still talk and I just want to make sure everything is ok. Please help

Genital herpes transmitted by oral sex is almost always caused by HSV-1. For reasons that are not well understood, HSV-2 does not "like" to live on oral mucosal and is rarely found at that location. HSV-1 however can infect not only the oral cavity but also the genital tract. When it effects the genital track, it tends to cause fewer recurrences and have less associated asymptomatic shedding. Last question Doctor if I may, just for future references, are both HSV 1 and HSV 2 transmittable from oral sex? Or do I just have to worry about HSV 2? Thank you for all your help
Thank you Dr. Hook, I will get checked out. When I look at the bump it looks more like an irritation, the only thing that scares me is the slight cool burning sensation, it's so slight though.

The clinic was closed today, so I have to wait one more day! Just to ease my mind can you tell me if this sounds unlike herpes. After squeezing the spot out yesterday, today I woke up and the spot has gotten just a tad bigger. It did not crust up and blister, etc. Also the spot is alone, no other additional red bumps. I would like to add that the bump is not under the head isolated somewhere, it's actually part of the little peice of skin that looks like a line leading into the urethra. Any additional information would be highly appreciated.

You are doing the right thing, going to get examined and evaluated as soon as possible. Is it likely this is herpes transmitted to you by oral sex? No. Without lesions (cold sores) transmission of SV is just not an efficient process. Is it possible? Yes.
What to do. First, do what you are doing--get tested. You're already doing that. But what else? This will be the hard part--stop squeezing, scratching or otherwise manipulating the spot. There are normal bumps on the head of the penis which vary in size from person to person and there are many other, non-STD dermatologic problems which can involve the penis. If you squeeze any skin surface, normal or not, you can get it to ooze and the more you squeeze, the more it will ooze. In addition, the irritation caused by squeezing and scratching will actually reduce the value of a clinical exam and culture.
If this is a first episode of herpes more lesions will appear over the course of the next day or two. If they do not, this makes it less likely this is herpes.
Finally, as for the test you get tomorrow. Get a culture or PCR test. A blood test will not help you in sorting out what is causing this lesion this soon after it appears.
I know it is hard to wait and not scratch or squeeze but that really is the best thing you can do. EWH
Oh and lastly, the pimple thing is red all around, and about the size of the tip of a needle.
