Unprotected Oral/Swollen Lymph Node

On Thursday, I received unprotected oral sex from a "happy ending masseuse," which lasted less than a minute, with bo ejaculation. This is the first time I have done such a thing, and I was frankly surprised that she began the oral. (I assumed the "service" would end in a hand job.)

Sunday, while playing softball, I slid into a base, and got a pretty intense abrasion on my knee & shin - it's about 5 inches long, and about three inches across. Scraped up pretty bad, scabbing, weeping, lost a lot of skin.

On Monday, I have a mild swelling in what I believe is my lymph node on the same side as the leg injury. I also have some muscle strain in the area due to the vigorous running in the same softball game.

I've seen in the forums that oral sex is an inefficient way to transmit STDs. So my question is this - would a swollen lymph node show up as a symptom of STD in only four days, or would it take longer? Or is it more likely that the lymph node is a reaction to the injury (and/or possible infection) on my leg?

Advice/thoughts? Thanks.

I don't think anyone on the internet can tell you whether or not you have a swollen lymph node or not.  I believe it's easy for a person to know, because they have tenderness in the area and puffiness.  Sometimes a dull aching pain.  If you think you have some swelling, you very well may.

Is it caused by the oral sex you recieved?  Probably not since you don't complain of any genital symptoms.  If you're really concerned about the swollem lymph, see you doctor about it, or just give it more time and see how you feel.

On a probability basis I don't think your leg is infected.   =)

Furthermore, I don't think you even have  a swollen lymph node.   .... thank about the many times you've injured yourself from baseball, and then, that your lymph nodes swelled up....   I think few would be reluctant to argue: this all might be in your head.

Thanks for your feedback. Here's why I ask about the swelling which showed up the day after a leg injury:

"The lymph nodes in the groin (femoral or inguinal lymph nodes) may swell from an injury or infection in the foot, leg, groin, or genitals."

Taken from: http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/swollen-lymph-nodes-topic-overview

Why is it you say NO?

Thank for clarifying that you are male,

.... I've yet to hear of a woman who goes to a massage place and get's oral sex.   That would be a first.

Your going to be alright --I promise.   Just don't visit them places again.

Hi

Your closing comment was "advice/thoughts"  here is my main thought: you are thinking about this way too much and should move on as you know you were at low risk for the major STDs.   If anything, symptoms would be in your penis to show signs of std infection.
It looks to me like you didn't catch anything.

You asked, "would a swollen lymph node show up as a symptom of STD in only four days"
YES, but I doubt you even have a swollen lymph node.   If you do have a swollen
node talk to your doctor about that; also let a doctor tell you that you have a
          swollen lymph node.

You asked, "Or is it more likely that the lymph node is a reaction to the injury (and/or possible infection) on my leg?"
         NO.
