Unprotected oral sex

4 weeks ago I received unprotected oral sex from a sex worker. Yesterday I went to the venerologist. He said the things   I've found on my penis (some pimples, I didn't have any other symptoms till now) don't look like syphilis or anything else, but I should go and test for syphilis anyway. I'm going to test tomorrow and these are my questions:
- is a 4 week VDRL test conclusive in my situation?
- what are the other STDs I could get from this incident, and if any, what tests (and how long after this incident) I should take to be sure if I catch anything or not.
Thanks
Cheers
Bratny

Thanks a lot! I've got HSV-1 since I was a child, so that is not a new problem for me.
Do you know what are the timeframes for chlamydia and gonorrhea testing?
And how accurate will be my 4 week test for syphilis?
Thanks in advance.

sounds like you'd be better off going to a dermatologist to confirm what is going on.

you should wait until 6 weeks to get tested for syphilis.  you can get chlamydia and gonorrhea too from oral sex as well as hsv1.
