Unprotected oral sex

I am a man who recently, today, had unprotected oral sex with an escort..  There were no visible signs of sores on her lips or around her mouth on the outside.  I am married and deeply regret my actions.  Most of all, I am concerned about my wife possibly being exposed to something in the future (I know, I should have thought about that before seeing the escort).

Here are my questions:

1). Am I at hight risk for receiving and STD?  If so,  which one(s)?

2). Should I abstain from sex with my wife altogether until I can get tested for everything, including HIV, in 4-6 weeks?  Or is protected sex ok?

I am worried sick and really need some answers.

Thank you.

Thank you very much for the information.  It really helped to ease my stress and worries.  I will test for gonorrhea, NGU and Syphilis in 4-6 weeks just to be on the safe side.  I am  very aware of my body and any changes that may happen, so, if I do notice symptoms, I will seek treatment immediately.  Thanks again

Oral sex is low risk for most STDs. First, oral sex is NOT a risk for HIV. So, no testing needed for HIV. Second, as odd as it may sound, escorts generally have lower STD rates than the general public. Most take measure necessary to protect THEMSELVES from STDs. Therefore, your odds of having acquired an STD from oral sex is so low to be almost non-existent.
You have a VERY slight risk from Gonorrhea, NGU, and a VERY, VERY outside chance of Syphilis (more common in homosexual male community). I would not be concerned unless I noticed sores or burning/uncomfortable sensation while urinating.
