Urine STD tests for women reliable/accurate?

by JustMe2011, Apr 21, 2008 12:48PM
I tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia (by cervical culture) maybe a month and a half or so after I was exposed. I tested positive for gonorrhea and the chlamydia test at that time was negative. I was treated. A few months later I went back to test to make sure everything was clear but this time I received a urine STD test for gonorrhea and chlamydia. Are urine STD tests reliable for women? Can I be confident with my negative results?
