Urine Testing Question

I recently took an STD and HIV test and am awaiting results from both. I have a question about the urine test I took for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea though...

The nurse gave me the cup and told me she wanted to have the beginning of my urine stream in the cup. I ended up urinating beyond the point she asked for though, so I poured some out. I'm not afraid that I may have poured out some of that "beginning urine" she asked for. My question is, will the diseases still be detectable in the urine I did provide?

If you aren't going to let it rest, just ask them when they give you the results.  They will be able to tell you more about it depending on what tests they use.

Re-test if its going to give you peace of mind.

Only reason I ask is because I'm a person who has high anxiety. I finally muster up the courage to go take this test and now I realize what I did and now I'm just afraid when I get the results they won't be conclusive. My mind needs a rest.

I'm not having any symptoms

I filled it up quite a bit past the line so I poured some out. Now I'm just thinking I'm going to have to end up taking the whole thing again because I'm not sure how accurate the test will be incase I did accidentally end up pouring out some of that "inital" urine.

It should probably be fine.  How far past the line did you go?  Are you having symptoms?
