Vaginal Strep B, Yeast Infection, AND herpes ??

On Wednesday I went to the gyno with what I thought was a yeast infection. I was having extremely painful itching and burning to the point  where I would avoid using the bathroom. She did a pap smear and several cultures, and told me I had a few " lesions " which she thinks are herpes sores. She couldn't tell for sure without blood tests but said she was about 70% sure it was herpes because of the "classic symptoms". I was pretty upset, naturally. She prescribed Valtrex and Diflucan, and the following day called and said I had tested positive for Vaginal Group B Strep but the other tests hadn't come back. My question is, could the sores be from the Strep, or could they have been the results of wearing tight jeans and scratching? Or is it pretty clear I have herpes ? She gave me an antibiotic for the strep and an ointment for the itching / burning, but it seems to be getting worse instead of better probably due to the increased stress of not knowing. I've recently also been having slight hair loss and fatigue but I think that's all due to PMS. I'm scared... I'm open to any input anyone has out there..

I know the misery and frustration you both are feeling, and I feel for you!   I am a carrier of GBS and I also have Herpes.  The problem is that all three (yeast infections, GBS and a herpes outbreak) present with the same symptoms, all equally miserable to live with.  I haven't had a Herpes outbreak for two years and last month I started with the external vaginal itching and burning.  I used an over the counter anti-fungal and it helped for a couple of days and then it seemed to get worse.  I was miserable.  I scratched myself raw and I when I examined myself with a mirror, I thought I was having a herpes outbreak because of the lesions.  Looking back, I'm sure that they were scratches from me.  I went to the GYN and she gave me Diflucan and cultured the inside of the vagina.  A few days later I got a call from the office with the culture results.   It turns out it was a GBS infection that they treated with ampicillin.  That helped.

Hey, let me know what your test results come back as, because I am going through the same thing right now, but its my third time having this "outbreak" that they keep saying is herpes but all 3 test have come back negative.  I am also waiting on a result for a yeast infection- should know by monday- but I highly doubt that is what my problem is because I am not itchy whatsoever.

Question- Do you have any other symptoms with this? ex: sore/swollen throat& glands, high fever, chill/sweats
