Vaginal infection?

Hello,

Can someone please put me at ease.

Last thursday i had protected sex.  The next day and half i started to experience frequent and burning sensation when going to the toilet. I also saw blood in the urine.

The doctor prescribed me antibiotics for what he said was cystitis. Since taking trimethoprim for cystitis, the symptoms have almost diminished.
But my concern is that i have been experiencing watery discharge from the vagina before i started taking the medication and during. It's not profuse but it is worrying.

My concern is that all these sysmptoms point to Chlamydia rather than cystitis, but then i ask myself how could that be when i had protected sex(condom).

Can someone give an expert opinion, please, especially what the watery discharge means?

Thank you.

If the condom broke or came off, you could get chlamydia.

Thank you for you response.

I was tested a few weeks ago for chlamydia and Gonorreah which all came back negative.

Is it possible to still get chlamydia with protection?

Thank you.

It could be bacterial vaginosis.  Were you tested for anything except cystitis?
