Very sore throat and bumps

I have done a lot of research on gonorrhea recently because just about a week ago i performed oral sex on a new partner (he was a male..and im a female by the way). A couple days ago i started to get a sore throat but didnt think much of it..but now my throat is killing me on my left side when i swallow. My glands on my left side are swollen and hurt to the touch. And today i just noticed some reddish/white bumps in the far back of my throat and on the back of my tongue. Other then that i feel fine. I dont have a fever or a cold. I feel like i have a lot of mucus caught in the back of my throat whenever i swallow but thats about it. I'm very worried that this could be gonorrhea of the throat and I'm worried about seeing a doctor. I could just be paranoid but i dont know what to do.
What happens if I do have gonorrhea of the throat? And what happens if I do nothing? Is there any kind of medicine I can take to make it go away by myself?

Strep throat, and tonsilitis can also cause your symptoms.  If you have pus pockets, you need to go to the doctor.  Antibiotics can speed the process of healing.  Inform him of the oral sex so he can determine whether or not it warrants testing.
