Very worried

I am male and had a sexual encounter with a female 2 nights ago.  I have been married for a long time and this is the only time I've been unfaithful.  I am horrified by what I've done and equally horrified that I could pass along an STD to my wife.  I started getting a tingling / hot sensation on my penis roughly 36 hours after the encounter.  Right now it is roughly 72 hours since the encounter and the sensation continues.  It feels like I used Ben Gay in the area.
The woman performed oral sex and we had vaginal sex, both with a condom.
What is the likelihood that this sensation is the precursor to herpes or some other STD?
Also, should I refrain from having sex with my wife?

The sensation I have felt is best described as when you apply Bengay.  Doesn't really burn but you can certainly tell something is going on.  I have had no urination issues.
The strange sensation is less frequent now and less severe.  It's been 3 1/2 days since my encounter.
Other than that, I have no other symptoms as of now.  As far as testing, I believe you'd have to wait about 2 weeks to have an effective test done.  I am certainly no expert on that, however.

Hello.

You describe a just about zero risk for all STDs.   Tingling/hot sensation like if you had put BenG ointment on is NOT an alarming feeling.  I know its hard but try to relax.

Its up to you if you wanna have sex with wife or not.  If I were in your shoes, knowing what I know -- I would have sex with my wife.
