Very worried

Im deeply worried about a recent meeting with a transexual escort. A couple weeks ago she performed oral sex on me that was completely protected with a condom. When we took the condom off she also gave me a hand job and spit on my penis head . The condom was not a brand name she stated the clinic gave it to her for free. It stayed in tact the whole time. About 2- 3 days later I had a minuscule feeling where I guess I could feel the urine coming out when I would urinate whereeas prior I would never feel anything when I urinated. The feeling was very minute.  I was given Amoxicillan about 5 days after the incident for a sinus infection. Im concerned that I may have caught gonehrea. When I tool the amoxicillan the symptoms ironically went away. However now the symtpom that I have is very frequent urination, which is two weeks after the incident. I seem to go to the bathroom every hour.  Im a nervous reck I wonder if I caught gonnerhea and now passed it on to my wife.  Could I have caught gonnerea when taking the condom off if my penis rubbed against the inside the condom when taking it off. Do you think I caught gonnerea from a protected ********, im very scared. The only sypmtom i now have is frequent urination with no discharge. Should I refrain from sex with my wife .

Please advise

As I said avove, there was NO STD risk from the event describe -- none, zero, nada, zilch, nichevo.  Got it?  That means there is no information you can provide that will change my opinion or advice.  Of course you cannot catch NGU through a condom, and NGU doesn't cause the symptoms you describe; it's clearly your "mind working overtime".  Frequent urination may sometimes be an STD symptom in women, but rarely if ever in men.  However, it is one of the most common symptoms of genitally focused anxiety in men who regret a sexual exposure.  I suggest you stop searching the internet -- like many anxious persons, you're obviously being drawn to information out of context that inflames your fears, missing the reassuring bits.

That will end this thread.  Do your best to move on.

One symptom that I failed to mention is that I feel a slight irritation with a bit of itchiness. Is there a chance I contracted ngu or is my mind working overtime. I can't sleep I'm so worried I gave this to my  wife . But there is no discharge and no pain on urination. I get nervous because on the net it says frequent urination is a symptom of an std.

Saliva rarely transmits STDs, if ever.

I already discusssed amoxicillin above.

Stop speculating about impossible scenarios. There was no STD risk from this event.

2 quick follow up questions

The fact that she spitted on my penis during the hand job that didn't put me at risk for a std ?

I was on Amoxicillan for 7 days when I had sex with my wide hypthethetically speaking was I on the antibiotic long enough to cure me if I had it , and if I have her gonnerrhea would she have symptoms. Thank you so much in advance for your professionalism.

Welcome to the forum.  Thanks for your question.

There is no way you caught gonorrhea or any other STD from oral sex with a condom.  There is no such thing as microscopic defects in a condom -- it doesn't matter how cheap it may be, if it doesn't break wide open, protection is complete.  And the indirect contact from removing the condo etc really is not a risk at all.  Oral sex is low risk for STDs anyway, and your symptoms are not at all consistent with gonorrhea.  If you had it, you would have pus dripping from your penis -- hard to miss!  The subtle symptoms you describe don't go along with any STD.  Frequent urination is NOT a symptom of gonorrhea or other urethral infection -- but is related to overactivity of the bladder, which is an extremely common issue in people with anxiety over a sexual encounter they regret.  On top of all that, amoxicillin would have prevented most gonorrhea (as well as chlamydial infection) -- it's not a recommended treatment, but would effectively prevent most infections if taken before (or soon after) exposure.

So my advice is to sit tight and try to stop worrying.  In fact, you should congratulate yourself on a wise decision to use a condom for this exposure.  Condoms work, and you needn't be concerned.  Of course see a doctor or clinic if your symptoms continue or you otherwise remain concerned, but I'm confident you caught no STD.

I hope this has helped.  Best wishes--  HHH, MD
