Was treatment effective?

Hey all,

I was diagnosed with clamydia (chlamydia) and gonoreah approx. 2 months ago. I was presrcibed 1g of Azithromican (sp?) and 400mg of Suprax.  The next week since I was so worried the doc also gave me Doxy for 7 days. I have a few questions:

1. How effective was this course of treatment in erradicating these infections?
2. How soon are these infections out of your system where a retest would be negative? Waiting for 3 months is driving me crazy!!
3. If I had unprotected sex with someone I am 100% sure was not infected 2 weeks after initial treatment and 1 week after Doxy was finished what are the chances I spread these infections to them?

I still feel certain feelings in the genital area but I think for the most parts it is nerves as I am a worry wart. Any insight one way or the other to put my mind at ease would be appreciated. My doctor isn't very helpful and just keps telling me wait 3 months when all i want is a little assurance and some answers. Thanks for your help.
