What are the chances

#1 On 10/10/08, I had protected (condom on and no failure) vaginal sex with an excort.  I was able to penetrate but during the act I lost my erection.  I masturbated with the condom on to try and regain my erection.  With no result, I removed the condom and masturbated with the same hand until ejaculation.  4 days later, I noticed a small amount of discharge from my penis (especially in the morning).  I also feel a discomfort in the urethra...not painful but annoying.  No burning when I pee.  Could it be possible to get chlamydia this way being that I touch the vaginal secretions from the condom and masturbated with the same hand?  What are the chances that this can be an STD?  Could it be something else?

#2 A day after the encounter, I also had unprotected sex with my girlfriend who I know for sure is clean.  If I were exposed to an std the day before, is it possible I could have passed it on to her?  Is there a time frame once you are exposed to an std that you can spread to others?

Thanks for your help....really scared

You could not have gotten chlamydia or any other STD from transferring the escort's vaginal secretions from the outside of the condom to your penis during masturbation.  It just does not happen.  masturbation, even mutual masturbation is safe sex and does not lead to STD transmission even though when two people are involved secretion typically move from one person to another.  You are not going to be the first person to get an STD from masturbating with a hand which might have another person's vaginal secretions on them.  As a result, you do not need to worry about your GF either.

Hope this helps.  Nothing to worry about.  EWH

Just an update.

Had urine test and everything came back negative.  I want to thank you Dr. Edward W Hook for your analysis.

The discomfort could be a manifestation of paying closer attention to your penis and how it feels than normal.  This is no at all uncommon following a concerning exposure.  What I can say however, once again, is that you cannot get chlamydia from the sort of exposure you describe.  EWH
