What are these bumps?

by pweetiegirlie, Jul 05, 2009 05:15PM
Hi

I've been sexually active for 8 years, and have always had these strange bumps inside the lips of my vagina. There are quite a few of them and they are small and white. I've had a look on websites at genital warts and stuff, but I'm not sure what it is, and every time I book in to see someone about it, I'm too scared to go through with it. I know you won't diagnose something online, but could you explain what they could be because I'm so scared I've got something. I've had unprotected sex once (stupid I know). Thanks.

Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is go to the doctor for proper testing.  Most std's in women are signified by some type of unusual vaginal discharge.  That's if they notice the change.  Sometimes the change can be so subtle they don't notice.  Either way.  Bumps could be several things, warts, herpes, molluscum, or even something not std related.  But like I said, you won't know if you don't get tested properly.
