What causes strange itchy bumps

I recently had unprotected sex.  A few days later i noticed itchy bumps on my inner thighs.  I simply thought something had bit me like a bug or something.  After a few days i now have these bumps om my arms, hands, legs, feet and stomach.  I still just figured maybe it was like hives or an allergic reaction so i started taking allergy medicine.  Now its on my penis and its more red and irritated.  it only itched at first but now it itches and is a little sore.  just on the head of my penis but now i see red irritated places on my balls too.  I'm worried that i have an std now that i have been googling about it online...

An std wouldn't give you symptoms all over your body.  You should check with your doctor about this.

Perhaps you've used a new laundry detergent, soap, etc.
