What is wrong with him??!

My husband complained of some rashes in his groin area about 3wks ago, he said it burns and they looked whitish on top. He was given some cream to aply on it but it only got worse as I just found out, I realized he was standoffish and didn't want to make love anymore, when I insisted he said he had to use a condom because of the recurring rash, it had spread to the penis by this time. He told me a few days ago that the doctor prescribed some medication for me too, for what he didn't say. I'm almost afraid to ask what he has!! I just remember him always complaining of having a burning sensation with the rashes. What do u think he has please????????!!!!!!!!

Zithromax is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear infections, and sexually transmitted diseases. Got this from googling it, and this is just about as much info as I can provide. Only thing I can advise is to ask him to go along with him to the Dr to find out more as to why you have to take something. Or tell him you need more info as to what he has.

It is not accusing him, but you don't want to put something in youe body without knowing what it is for and why you have to use it.

Thank u Vance. That sounds soothing but I would like to know what other kind of bacterial infection would necessitate a partner to be treated with Zithromax? ............Don't know how to broach the topic with him, he seems 'broken' over the fact that I need medication for something he has. Don't want to accuse him if he was honest and all he has is a bacterial infection but I'll like to know. Thanks a lot.

Does not sound STD related. You will have to talk to him about it.
