Are you still on the keflex? First, that does NOTHING for a cold. A cold is a virus, and an antibiotic kills bacteria. Second, you need to wait 2 weeks following your last pill to test, as antibiotics can give you false negatives on the tests.
I'd follow up with your doctor sooner, though. You might be having a reaction to the keflex.
Let me rephrase...I took the Keflex for an Upper Resp. Infection...but the irritation had started before I started taking the Kelflex....The doctor also put me on an anitfungal pill for tinea spots on my body that I have had off and on for years...any advice?
Cannonball - I'd wait until you are done all meds, see how you feel, and go from there. You really had a very low risk, if there was any at all, so take care of the URI and tinea first.
Dbernardo - If you had a high risk situation, then yes, you should. If you have further questions, start your own thread, please.
