Whats wrong with me?

Just recently i slept with a girl i probably shouldnt have unprotected and began becoming very paranoid about my penis.  Just recently, a day or two after the sex, i began feeling the urge to urinate and couldnt quit get the **** out in streams....its very difficult to urinate.  There is also an uncomfortable feeling inside my penis, not a burning exactly, but a sense of the penis being very hot (not sure if its mental or not).  Basicly my symptoms are *difficulty to urinate, and *a sense or pressure or heat inside my penis.  It doesnt burn or hurt when i urinate or ejaculate, nor do i have any bumps or sores around the penis.  I went to the doctors office this morning hoping it was a simple urinary tract infection, but the urine test showed no signs of bacteria.  He referred me to a urologist outside of the hospitol.  I didnt tell him bout my unprotected sexual encounter however, so i'm not sure he was looking for an std.

1. What do u think is wrong with me?
2. Will the urologist be able to spot the problem or should i go back and ask for an std check?

Thankyou

Not necessarily.  I know its hard to not speculate, but try not to and just get in to see a doctor.  If it takes too long to see the urologist - and it might - go back to your regular doctor and be honest about what happened.  They can at least test you for stds and rule that out before you see the urologist.

Yea i know i should have been honest.  I'm very paranoid and i think that may be half the problem. Today i woke up fine and everything seems to be ok....still no burning or any marks. My prostate was checked and it was fine...i'm going to go to the urologist and see if that works.  If not and i'm still worried, i'll get an std test done.

If it was an std i'd probably know wouldnt i? I'm sure it be visible or i'd at least be pissing fire correct?

Oh and this sounds more like a prostate problem or anxiety than an std.

A urologist should be able to find out the source of your problems, but if he didn't test for stds, you should have that done.  As always, you should be honest with your doctors.  If you don't mention that you are concerned about stds, they don't know that they should be testing you.
