I think it might still be better to go see a Dr in this case, as they can write you a prescription for doxy (or maybe azithromycin) which can be filled with a generic and so not cost much money.
Most of the online pharmacies charge more than you would pay, even without insurance, at a cheaper pharmacy such as Walmart or Target. Also, with a prescription, you can get your medicine immediately, instead of waiting several days.
Thanks to both of you. I will check with the local clinics listed on my state's health website. Not sure if they are free though. I just don't want to spend a couple hundred bucks for nothing, for example several men that posted questions here have gotten testing - and not found a resolution to the issue. But it does appear unlikely that this is gonorrhea since the symptoms occured immediately after the oral sex with no delayed onset. If this minor irritation subsides over the next few days, then everything would seem to be ok (per many responses of Dr. HHH).
