Will gonorrhea treatment work this soon?

So I slept with someone at the weekend... so around 5 days ago.

He's just messaged me to say that he's not sure he's clean from STIs as he's tested positive for gonorrhea.

I'm happy to go get treated within the next week- but will the treatment work in this time frame? Or as soon as you have sex have you got it?

Im not sure what your asking. It takes about 10 days to kill gono

Yes but if he was positive, would the antibiotics treat me this soon?

Hi, Gono is a little trickey as there are a few different strains. Once you have been treated you need to wait about 7-10 days before having sex but with gono a follow up test is recommended to confirm its gone.
