Will it ever go away

by Sharry158, Sep 28, 2008 11:31AM
For eleven years my paps have come back abnormal, with hpv cells.  I have had a Colposcopy every year and the tests from the biopsy came back fine.  In 2007 I had the leep surgery to get a bigger piece for the biopsy and the tests came back fine.  It has been a year since that surgery and my pap two weeks ago came back abnormal again.  My doctor wants to do a colposcopy first, then a deeper leep procedure or possible hysterectomy.  I hate being cut on all the time. Will this ever end and will the hpv go away? I do know it is a virus and I do take care of myself with supplements and positive lifestyle.  What else can I do for this?  Thank you, Sharry

Hi there -

Since this is a complex issue for you, I'd suggest posting in our HPV forum.
