Window period for sifilis testing

I had a VDRL test at 6 weeks and 2 months after the possible risk behaviour. Both were negative. I was told that at 2 months the test result is definite. Is this true? Can I trust the negative test results or should I have another test? I took HIV at 4 months and chlamydia and gonorrea at 1 month, these were also all negative. I'm just a bot worried about the sifilis if 2 months was enough.

we recommend waiting 6 weeks for syphilis testing. you waited enough, no reason to repeat your testing.

I've reading a lot of answers to similar question and they vary a lot from 4 weeks to 90 days, that's why I'm kind of confused and I'd be grateful if someone can help me.
