Worried about Herpes and Trich

by daver90, Jan 04, 2008 08:23AM
Hi doc, my risks involve only ever recieving handjobs as well as just brief touching of the anus at massage parlours many years ago, 5-6 years ago. I have been tested for everything except herpes and trich because in Canada, knowledge of an available herpes Western Blot blood test is not so widespread. I was wondering if you could assess my risk for any of these disease, I have been experiencing what seems to be proctitis fro many months now (ie. loose stools, inflammation and irritation of the rectum, blood o toilet paper following a bowel movement) and was wondering is this could in fact be do to any STDs in my rectum.

Thanks,

First, nobody here is a doc.

Handjobs are 0 risk exposure, no reason to ever test for those.  And your symptoms are not STD symptoms in any event.  If that is your only risk, you can be assured you are STD free.
