Worried about bumps... I'm new to this.

I recently noticed some red bumps in my pubic area that are somewhat itchy. There are probably around 6-9 bumps in my pubic area and maybe 3-4 around the area where my leg meets the pubic area (I guess you could say the groin area). There's no pain at all and they're not even quite the size of an average pimple, quite small. None of them have opened and besides a little itching, there's been no discomfort or pain. There are some bumps near the base of my penis and some on the shaft, but only noticeable if I pull my skin tight (I guess they could just be follicles? I don't know). I was with a girl for a couple months and we had unprotected sex probably less than 20 times. However, I haven't had sex in about 4 months and the bumps only showed up in the past few days. I'm worried that this could be herpes, but I've read so much that I don't know what to think. I've only had 1 partner in my life and I'm really new to this whole thing... I never thought I would be faced with this... especially after it had been months and nothing had showed up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

You need to go see your doctor and find out what is going on. This could be many things from a bacterial skin infection to mollscumcontagiosum or even a whopper of a fungal infection. The only way to find out is to see your doctor.

What do you think as far as the possibility of it being herpes? :(
