Worried

by db823, Nov 09, 2009 03:48AM
A little over a week ago I had sex with a girl that I later found out likes to sleep around.  I also performed oral on this girl.  About 3-4 days afterwards, I begin to notice a small amount of milky discharge from the tip of my urethra, that I was sure was not semen.  Over the next few days, I began to feel burning at the tip of my urethra during urination.  Strangely, in the past few days since then, both the discharge and the burning have almost completely disappeared.  What could this mean?  Should I still get myself checked?

Also, a few days after the burning in my urethra began, I developed a terrible infection in the back of my throat and in the lower sinus area.  My throat is badly swollen, and it is extremely painful to swallow.  I can also, using the back of my tongue, force up great amounts of thick dark yellow mucus that is mixed with blood.  This is unlike any sinus infection or throat infection I have ever had before.  Could this be gonorrhea of the throat?  If not, then what is it?

To clarify, I did not use protection during sex or when I performed oral.

It would be wise to get tested for gonorrhea and chlymida.
