Worried

Back in march of 2010 I was tested for STDs except HIV everything came back negative. I then I started dating a girl in september 2010. I had shaved my pubic region for her preference and after I guess I had a bad rash which was probabably razor burn, I told her I didnt want to have sex until it healed. She insisted she didn't mind. After a few months later of unprotected sex a few little bumps appeared on my penis. After telling her this we had broke up. I then immediatly went to the hospital, doc came in and told me Not to worry about it and to wear a condom and make an appoinment with a urologist. So 2 months pass and I go and see a urologist he comes in and examines me and says that it is molliscum contagiousum. It's been about about 8 months since I've had this and now seems like I'm getting 2 small bumps on the tip of my penis that do not look like mcv, could this be from spreading it from masturbation or sex? Should i be concerned I may have HIV. Im really freaking out about this now because my new girlfriend and I have had sex unprotected. Both doctors I seen previously basically didn't say anything to me about getting an HIV test. I have an appointment on thursday to get tested for everything. I'm just stressing out so bad.

probably irritation or even jock itch starting. if they get worse, see your provider.

Well when I seen the urologist he just looked at it, without a biopsy. Then told me just to put lotion on it. After reading online more about the virus it says moisturizers can cause it to spread worse. So I bought some zymaderm and it seemed to had cleared it up on my penis. Now after having unprotected sex these small little reddish spots appeared on the tip of my penis, no pain and they don't itch like the molluscum and they don't look like GW or blisters. Seems like some sort of dry skin. I just want to get this over with and I'm praying it's nothing permanent. I do seem to sweat a lot between my legs because i work a lot in a hot kitchen all day and my skin is very sensitive between my legs. So who knows. I pray that this can be dealt with for the last time. I don't think I could handle being told I have something I have to live with for the rest of my life. Oh well thanks for the response.

you'd need to go and be seen again for further evaluation. did they treat your mc? if not, see a dermatologist for proper treatment so you don't risk spreading it to other body parts.

has your new gf had full std testing? odds are that neither of you have ever been tested for herpes either so it's well worth making sure you both have covered that base too.

it's really low risk that you have hiv but it's always a good idea for you and your partners to get tested for it before becoming intimate together.
