Worried

by jaselle, Dec 18, 2007 06:49PM
I have just noticed recently that my boyfriend has small white bumps around the ridge of his penis.  These have just appeared within the past couple of weeks.  I have also noticed that after we have intercourse I will have an odd odor for a while.  I have never had an STD.  Other than the foul odor I have not had any other symptoms.  What could it be?  Should I be worried?

those bumps can possibly be penile papules, that would be my 1st idea; if that's not it then it might be HPV, however i do not recall that HPV's symptoms include odor (HPV has no symtoms almost always).  symptoms do not occur earlier than 2 days fr exposure.  you having sex probably triggered a vaginal infection such as bacterial vaginosis. bad odor is not really a symptom of a STI, so i think it may be BV.  be sure to have ur annual pap to detect for HPV also.
