Yeast Infection from Oral Sex?

I had sex with a prostitute just under a week ago (I was quite drunk didn't realize she was a prostitute until after, I would never knowingly and have never used a prostitute before in my entire life).
I had oral sex with no condom, but vaginal sex with a condom. Yesterday I noticed some red bumps on the head of my penis and on the skin under the foreskin, they aren't big or actually 'bumpy' they're just small red dots. They aren't everywhere there are only a few, but enough to concern me. The skin directly a the edge of the head of the penis is slightly reddened and my foreskin does not pull back as easily as it normally does. I've also noticed a slightly strange smell but this wasn't there yesterday.
I went to the doctor's yesterday evening after I noticed my penis seeming weird in the morning. The doctor examined me and said that it wasn't herpes and that she did not think it would be an STD. I told her about my situation with the prostitute but she still thought it was probably a dermatological reaction to something like soap. She gave me fucidin cream as medication for the irritation.
But I didn't apply the cream because I wanted to see if it was just a dermatological thing, in which case I figured it would go away eventually. But it seems the same if not worse than yesterday and I don't know if I've panicked myself from looking online but I think it might be a yeast infection.
Would this be likely to be a yeast infection? Would my doctor have recognized it easily? Most importantly, is this as a result of my encounter with the prostitute, as I wore a condom for the vaginal sex, is it still possible to contract a yeast infection when wearing a condom? Finally, I did not wear a condom for the oral sex so is it possible that I contracted the yeast infection from her mouth?

Many thanks

condoms do work  well which is why we recommend their use for oral and genital sex :)

you aren't going to get hiv from a one time unprotected oral sex encounter. no reason to worry about that either.

thank you grace for responding.
i saw my doctor and she said it wasn't herpes, and she said she doubted very much it was a yeast infection, but what might it be? is there no risk of hiv if i wore a condom during the vaginal sex? i was quite drunk and my memory is fuzzy but i am sure that i wore it during the intercourse and the intercourse did not last long at all (a few minutes perhaps, i did not ejaculate). the condom didn't break either because i checked it the next morning. i'm still really worried though about hiv risk either from the oral sex or just accidental contact with the prostitute before and after the intercourse when i wasnt wearing a condom (e.g. moving about the bed naked and like, bumping into each other). is there a risk of hiv infection from that? what are the risks of hiv infection from vaginal sex without a condom or with a condom?

really really appreciate your help
thanks

you were not at risk for hiv.

you had protected sex which makes it unlikely that this is a std going on.

could it be a yeast infection? it can be. At this point all you can do is to continue to follow up with your provider if symptoms do not improve.

Sorry one final thing. I was worried about exposure to HIV so I went to the doctors and got a prescription for PEP Combivir. I started taking it around about 24 hours after the possible exposure. I've been taking it now for 5 days and I've had no adverse side effects except perhaps a loss of appetite and fatigue, but then again I've not been sleeping well after the incident with the sex worker and not really in the mood to eat. Could this be a side effect of the Combivir?

Thank you

One other thing, I hadn't masturbated since the episode with the prostitute, but I noticed the reddening and irritation on the penis when I had a shower minutes after I had masturbated. I don't remember what my penis was like before masturbation. There is also no itching.

Thanks again
