a follow up to the last Herpes of Follicitus question??? please help

It has been 6 days since the red bumps appeared, and as a said before that at first they looked like pimples, with pubic hair growing out of them so i plucked the hair and popped it and a small amount of pus and blood came out. Its been 3 days since i popped them, and the red spots still remain. If it is follicitus how long would it take for the spots to fade or disapear. If by some chance it is herpes how long does it usually take for the spots to evolve into fluid filled like blisters and burst. Also are herpes sores painful to touch? The red spots are not painful at all or tender. Also a spot on my inner thigh is kind of tender, im not sure if its a lymph node or what...please help im freaking out.

Herpes goes from red bump to blister-like lesion within 24-48 hr.  Otherwise, I can't provide more information than I already have, and can only describe in general terms what the probabilities are.  If you are "freaking out", the proper response is to see a health care provider, not look for a confirmed or highly probable diagnosis from me or any other online source.

Those don't sound anything remotely like herpes.  Red bumps and scars from folliculitis can remain for some time.  Leave the area alone!  Wash with mild soap and that's it.  If it persists, see a dermatologist.

I'm sorry, I don't have the time to answer simple questions for which the answers are readily available from multiple sites.  Go read about herpes (e.g., www.cdc.gov/std, or www.ashastd.org).

And stop relying on me or online sources for your diagnosis.  See a health care provider!  I will have no further responses on this thread.
