anal gonorrhea

by paul1730, Sep 17, 2008 09:12PM
is it possible to have gonorrhea in the anus and not have major symptons. I ask such because I use to have unprotected anal sex over ten years ago.  I noticed that shortly after one ocassion I started finding anal sex very uncomfortable. It seemed as if I was "raw" inside. I know it sounds really rediculous that I would not go get checked but I was too ashamed. I just stopped having anal sex. I have noticed that periodicly I seem to have a strange , almost infected type smell accompanied by an itch for a few days every couple of weeks. It comes and goes and I don't have any other syptoms (symptoms).  What on earth could that be??

It wouldn't be gonorrhea after 10 years.  Maybe you have some hemmorhoids or something internally.

Its almost shocking that you gave up anal sex for 10 years instead of just getting it checked.  I doubt it is gonorrhea, but seriously - that's easily cured.

If you've never been tested for stds, you really should be.

To: itchy anus
That smell is probably a lodged fecal plug somewhere North of your stretched out sphincter muscle.  Try pooping with your feet resting on a few phone books, apparently this technique provides for a more robust and memorable experience.  Good luck, hope it's a clean break :)
