antibiotic dosage

i took 500mg of azrithromycin on one day and 500 mg on the next ---i did not take the 1g all at once --is this effective ?

That dose probably would work well against chlamydia, but it has not been studied in this dose.  If you were my patient, I would not give you any more treatment at this point, but I would ask you to return to the clinic in 3-4 weeks to be restested, just to be safe.

If you don't have proved chlamydia infectio - for examyle, if you had nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) without a test for chlamydia - I suggest you just wait and see if your symptums clear up.  If they do, you can safely assume you were cured.
