anxiety related feeling after sex with a new person

Whenever I have sex with a completely new girl at whatever point in my life, I get a discomforting tingling feeling in my groin that will sometimes run down into my inner thigh. I almost never fails. I have been with the same girl for two years. During that time everything was fine. We broke up and I met someone new. We had sex unprotected. Eventhough my new friend has a clean bill of health I still got that same tingling discomfort in my penis. Everytime I have gone to the doctor in the past related to this, they found nothing. I believe I have high anxiety and paranoia of having sex with new people. My question is, am I correct in this diagnosis? I read another post where someone had similar symptoms and the doctor said it was anxiety. this is quite troublesome..please help.

Well Now that I am negative for everything, he is going to go to put my mind at ease.
My approach was just that and the last guy I dated went and got his tests done with paper in hand to show me, but I just wasn't ready to be intimate with anyone at that time. Now I had planned on doing this with whomever I would plan on being intimate with...but two bottles of wine later and some extremely built up tension between the two of us, we slipped. IDIOTS WE ARE!!!

Why don't you have new partners test?  You can even go together and get tested, and then maybe you won't have that anxiety.

If you've tested, and its all been negative, then yes, its anxiety.  Its quite common, but easily preventable by testing.

I think I am going through the same thing you are ANXIETY...I was with one person for 15 years never thought anything about std's. I have been dating a new guy since our breakup a year ago. We had sex one time unprotected and I am freaking out. Doesn't help I came back pos with HPV, which my doc said was something I probably had forever. Though I have my doubts! Anyhow I got all my tests done at roughly two weeks and herpes at three. All neg, however I am still freaking out about everything including HIV. I spoke with him tonight and he is going to get all of his tests done to put my mind at ease. Maybe you could do the same and look at the results as I plan on doing :)
