are my symptoms a STI

by er0s28, Oct 29, 2009 07:45PM
Hi there I am a female 32.  I have had kidney issues on and off for 5 years.  Recently I have had a painful side like kidney pain, with a slight burning pain, and fishy smell but the fish and burn have subsided.  I also went to the toilet a lot more, I have also felt sick (not been sick though) and tired a fair bit.  I do have anal and normal sex swapping between without washing or condoms, normally this is ok but could this be the cause of myside pains etc, any question please ask?  Regards

Bacterial Vaginosis would definitely cause the fishy smell.  And your sexual activity could have played a part in that.  It is much like a yeast infection but with the not normal bacteria overgrowing in the vagina.  Only women get BV.  It is not an std that you can give to a man or man to woman. A doctor can confirm this easily under the microscope.  While you are at it, you should be tested for any std's.  Your other symptoms don't really signify an std.Hope this helps.
