azithromycin and sti/std

hi i started to get sharp nipping pains in the tip of my penis and frequent urination. i went to my doctor and they gave me 4x 250mg of azithromycin. the symptoms started to go after 3 days however i am now 5 days post treatment and still have the pain in the tip. my question is is this normal? my doc said symptoms should have passed after 3 days but now i am worried it may be something else? any advice as i am freaking out a little

Theres been no smell or discharge just pain and frequent urination. Cloudy urine at times. Hoped that azithromycin would have cleared whatever it was up but will go back to the doctor to get diagnosed

Frequent urination is more of a bladder or prostate blockage issue than a std. Also you could have injured your penis tip from constant checking. Doesnt take much to irritate that area as is full of nerves.

I have not been diagnosed yet but have been given the antibiotics as mentioned previously. I will be going tomorrow to get checked. Didnt think i would need to get checked as symptoms stopped but have now come back.

A white puss discharge and burning while urinating are std symptoms. Give it a few more days and a follow up with your doctor as sometimes we need a retreatment. Were you diagnosed with an std?

I did nearly 3 weeks ago then the symptoms came. Went to the docs and got the antibiotics but still have symptoms 5 days later. Is this normal? I know they say it takes 7 days to clear but getting worried now
