The other day i had an unprotected sexual encounter. Since then my foreskin has become inflamed and uncomfortable but this is the only symptom. I think it is balanitis but I am not sure. Could someone help please.

Please post questions about your individual situations in your own thread.  You can do this by clicking on the big green POST A QUESTION button at the top of the page.  Give us as much information about your situations as necessary for us to help you as best as we can.  Answering your questions under this person's post is not fair to them as well as confusing to all.

Does not sound like an STD. Could be nonspecific balanitis caused by overgrowth of bacteria in the foreskin or yeast (perhaps acquired from your partner). Balanitis is common in uncircumsized men.

See a doctor for a proper diagnosis.
