bumps in groin

So

I've never had any issues before aside from things like razor burn, but in the last week or so I've had a handful (about six) red bumps appear in my groin area.  None of them are actually on my genitals, a few are in the area directly in between my belly button and genitals, and a few are slightly closer to my scrotum but none are actually on the genitals themselves.

They appear to be pimples - many, but not all of them have developed whiteheads, and the first ones to show up are slowly starting to fade.  They won't pop, however.  More are popping up every day, maybe another one or two, but they still are staying off my actual genitals.

There's no itching, no burning when I urinate, no blood or pus.  Everything I look up online tells me that HPV or genital warts look more like cauliflower and are actually on the genitals themselves.  Needless to say, I'm still worried...obviously, if it's while I'm here.

I do plan on seeing a doctor about this, but I'm waiting to move back down to school in a week or so as it costs less.

This sound familiar to anyone else?

they might be warts.  or maybe molluscum contagiosum, although I think then they would itch - not positive.  It's impossible to say without a visual inspection, but I just thought I'd let you know that I have warts, none of them on my vagina, all in the pubic area.  They don't look like cauliflower either, just like little pinkish-peachish bumps.  So it is possible to have warts like you describe, but like i said, it's impossible to tell without seeing them, and still a doctor is the only one who can say.
