I had unprotected sex with a female friend in May was diagnosed with Chlamydia.  I was treated, and checked for Syphilis Hepatitis and HIV. All came back negative.  But  two months later I had two accounts of sharp pains in my lower stomach  no more to date  and a tinging sensation from my foot no more to date. I also had this funny feeling in my inner thighs no more to date.  I now have a burning sensation form time to time in various areas of  my groin.  I have seen a doctor and he said sounds like herpes but  he doesn

I think it is unlikely your symptoms are due to herpes, but it is possible; genital herpes is often described in medical circles as a "protean" ("pro-tee-yan") disease, meaning it has a vary wide range of symptoms and signs.  While I think a HerpeSelect HSV-2 test likely will be negative, it would be reasonable to be tested.  And if positive, to try one of the herpes drugs (acyclovir, valacyclovir, famciclovir) for 3-4 months to see if it seems to control your symptoms.
