can taking doxycycline at different times interfere with the treatment?

I've tested negative for both chlamydia and gonorrhea yet i have the symptoms. I've been to several different walk ins, been prescribed a shot and two pills which i took immediately on one occasion. when that didn't work i went back and was given a shot and prescribed doxycycline 2 times per day for ten days. unfortunately i was on vacation and had trouble taking the doses exactly 12 hours apart, however i did take 2 doses per day except for one pill which i threw up.  while on the medication the discharge stopped... 2 weeks after treatment it has returned and i am now wondering if i should go back for a second treatment or if this may not even be chlamydia.

you tested negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea and you were still treated for them both. No reason to suspect that either of them are the cause of your symptoms.

return to be seen again. Make sure that they also manually examine your prostate too as well as do urine testing.
