DOC. here it goes. I am extremely embarassed, ashamed and cannot function right now. i am a married father of 2, very conservative. i had protected oral sex three times with 3 different pros. one occuring feb 15, march 24 and as recently may 25. i dont know what is wrong with me, i dont know why i would ever do such a thing. on may 16, I had a severe pain in my left testicle, it lasted about a few hours .i read on the interent that it could be a std. i got so scared i went to 2 urologists, my primary, two std clinics and one ER visit.all within 2 weeks time. the urologists performed a sonogram and saw a small cyst, but he said cysts that small do not generally cause pan. the ER and two std clinics did a culture on me, they stuck a swab into my penis and blood work. all three tests were negative. no std or UTI found. recently becasue of these results i went to another pros on may 25, why, i dont know, while she was performing her act(PROTECTED), I became totally ashamed but i let her finish. i cried. its a demon that i must conquer. i will never do this again, i will now go to church and ask for forgiveness. after the last encounter on may 25(PROTECTED) I saw a pimple on my penis, i again went to a std clinic, the doctor said it was not an std, it was just a pimple, but now my back, stomach hurts. also my testicle do not hurt , but i feel discomfort. all i think about is my wife and kids and the pains i am getting,. i cannot work, i cannot concentrate, all i think about is this. i have lost 5-6 pounds worrying about this. i am powerless right now.

First and foremost, I think its time to see a counselor to determine why you are doing things that clearly are upsetting you. Asking the church for forgiveness is one thing, and that might help if that's important to you, but I think you need to find out WHY you are doing these things.
All of your std tests are negative, and all of your sexual activities were protected. This means your chances of having an std are very low, if not zero.
My guess, and its purely a guess, is that your back and stomach pains are from stress and anxiety.
I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you get some help for all this.

every website says testicle pain is associated with STDS, i saw urologists nothing negative to report. could i still have infection even though three tests prove otherwise.
i dont mean to keep writing , i dont know what compelled me to do something so stupid after many years of marriage. . just worried about HIV. those three pros seemed like addicts. why why why. i dont make these type of errors, but i did.
the testicle pain dosnt hurt, just dull aches, that is why i thought of NGU.
My guess is that at this point, its anxiety, or psychosomatic. I don't say that to be mean - that's a real issue you have to deal with.
You had protected oral each time. The chances of you getting an std from that is very very small. Its a zero risk for HIV when receiving oral sex.
You need to find a way to move on from this, and that might be counseling, your church, etc - whatever works for you - or a combination of the above. Your tests are saying you do not have anything physically happening to cause these symptoms.

how accurate are the urine tests?
i dont think its psychosomatic, and i will tell you why, back in may, i got this real severe testicle ache. it went away but the mild tenderness stayed. this all happened before i started checking the internet on stds.and the mild tenderness is still there. i know there is nothing more you can say to me to convince me that i might not have anything. i know i am going on some binge. i cant eat, concentrate at work or not think about this all the time. i really dont know what to do. i dont want to have any sexual relation with the wife until i find the solution. i am a very stupid person, and i made 3 terrible mistakes. i am not depressed , i am just embarassed and i am wondering how can i make a mistakes like that. ten years i never made that mistake , why did i make it .
at work my co-workers were talking to me, and i was looking at them, but i was not listening to them. i am just mad about this. i dont want to keep lingering about this. i am going back to the std clinic to get checked one more time, this monday.
If you are convinced you don't have anything, then I can't help you. But you owe it to yourself, and your family, to figure out a way to get through this. I'd advise you to seek some counseling. Its time.

now that i remember , 2 of the pros, one on feb 16 the other on may 25 were performing their oral acts on me licked my testicles about 3-5 times. i felt their tongue hitting my testicles 3-5 times. i dont mean to be explicit, but its was like quick bursts.

yesterday and today , my head got so hot and i started to sweat. i am not sick, but this has been happening. as i type now my head feels like its steaming hot and i am sweating but not a fever as of yet.. could this be a sign of HIV for hot flashes.

You wouldn't have HIV symptoms at this point, and if you did, they wouldn't be hot flashes.

The testicle pain your experiencing could be due to some form of Epididymitis. Epididymitis can be caused by both sexually transmitted bacteria and simply rogue bacteria building up - ie being on anti-biotics etc.
Thing is with bacteria's and such like are that there are hundreds of STD's that simply don't have names. Chlamydia and other named infectious bacteria are named because they are so popular and are easily recognizable through tests. With other forms of Epididymitis the bacteria isn't recognized.
Epididymitis is an infection/inflammation of the epididymus and can travel down to infect the testicles, and also spread upwards to infect the prostate. Epididymitis quite often is mis-diagnosed as UTI or Kidney infection, which usually results in a course of Cefalexine - which only suppresses the symptoms and leaves them to return again and again.
Epididymitis can be contracted through oral sex - with bacteria from the mouth getting into the urethra and spreading into the epididymus. Signs of Epididymitis are usually dull aches in the testicles, lower abdominal pain, lower back pain and tender testicles.
I'm not saying that this is what it is, but its worth getting it checked - if it spreads to both testicles and becomes bi-lateral it can result in infertility and also lead to prostate problems.
You'll probably be prescribed Doxy or Ceftriaxone.

i dont think its Epididymitis because it hasnt showed on the swab or urine test 4 times now. i am now worried about HIV.
You can't get HIV from a protected oral encounter. You probably can't from an unprotected oral encounter either, but there is no chance if its protected and you are receiving oral sex.
You probably can't get an any std from a protected oral encounter. Any std that is remotely a possibility you have tested negative for.
The window period for HIV testing is 3 months, not 6. However, you had protected oral sex, and HIV is not even a concern. You do not need any further testing for anything whatsoever.
Please get help for what is turning into an obsession. I don't know if you feel like you deserve to have an std, or what, but you don't have one. Its time to accept that and move on.

Tenderness in the testicle...if you are constantly checking them, every few mintues-hours, they may be tender from constant palpation, or it may be the cyst that can give you some discomfort or make testicles more sensisitive ( i have one too) possibly other causes as well, but if it was anything serious the symptoms would have progressively got worse. You might want to get another Ultrasound which usually checks your kidneys as well.
So put your worries out of your mind, and probably go to see someone to TALK about what you have done, and why you feel so guilty about it.
i know you said it safer than conventional sex. but what makes it safer?
i had a condom on, i took it off each time and i didnt appear to be broken but what if there was a small hole.
Yeah does fit mumps symptoms and epidiymitis too. Go back to you GP and ask him about mumps and epididymitis and see what they say. It's no good trying to get diagnosed on here, either way you'll still need your doc to prescribe the drugs to you.
If your primary didn't find anything twice, and you've been to 2 different urologists and had 4 std visits, there is nothing wrong with you. Your urologists would have seen mumps and epididmytis, as would your primary, and the clinicians at the std clinic.
The only thing left would be an ultrasound of your testicles. If you have that, and they find nothing, then you have to accept that there is nothing wrong.
I sincerely hope that after many people here trying to help you, that you have at least considered some therapy. All of us who've said it can't be wrong.

Besides, the only things you need to wait 3 months for are herpes and HIV, and HIV isn't even a risk when receiving oral sex, and if the person had no sores on or around her mouth, and you used a condom, you aren't going to get genital herpes from that.

bit late when it had become bi-lateral! haha ....It cleared up ok when they did realise what it was - took 3 weeks of doxy.
I have been going through a lot of what you have been. I have been married 10 years and have 2 kids as well. I used a pro on May 21st and had a condom on the moment she entered the room. I still ended up with problems and have been dealing with them for 7 weeks now.
2 visits to STD clinic, 2 visits to GP, Azithromycin twice, Cipro once, Doxycycline for a week, 2 Rocephin shots, and 21 days of 750mg Levaquin (14 left) and I still have suprapubic pain and occasional sting at the tip of my urethra (but not while urinating - dysuria).
I am not working right now thank goodness or I would not be able to function. I am studying for certifications though, and this is making studying all but impossible.
I think AJ is right about getting your prostate checked out. Men can direct stress to this area and cause themselves Prostatits. The fact you are having rectal pain while sitting is further evidence that you may have prostate problems.
If you are like me and not having sex with your wife because you don't want to risk infecting her, be sure to take care of business yourself as this will encourages drainage of the prostate and assist in clearance of infection. If you aren't draining it that alone could be causing you the pain.
Anti inflammatory agents (like ibuprofen) may also help with the discomfort. Personally I don't want to start taking those until after my 3 month tests. The doctors here and AJ tell me this isn't necessary but I have gotten the bad end of hard odds too many times in my life.
I'm not a doctor but just a guy who has OCD about my groin problems, so take my advice for what it is worth.
Since God is important in your life you may want to look into SAA (sexaa.org). It sounds like you want to control this behavior but can't. I wish all the best for you in getting better both physically and mentally.

You need to chillout a bit mate. Your doctors have not seen anything, so just relax. Herpes causes an outbreak of blisters and spot on the affected area within 2-14 days of coming into contact with the virus. Since you've been to so many urologists etc and they have been looking at your man - do you not think they would of realized by now you have herpes??
Stop stressing, your going to make yourself ill through it.

Blue. i am sorry for my obsession. but why is it that my retum now hurts. sometimes it itches other times is a pressure feeling. i just recently called a std clinic and i have appt tomorrow for a comprehensive std test. i dont want to go through insurance so i will pay everything with cash roughly 700.00. i dont know what else i can do for these pains. i still have itching in my testicles but i always itched there.after my last exposure i went home and put alcohol on my entire penis. the next day i devolped a red pimple in my penis shaft, i went to std clinic and the doctor said it was a pimple not an std. i wasnt convinced. i never got a pimple there before , some of these doctors might not know what exactly the symptoms are. i am goiing to take a hsv test and maybe hiv again just in case. this has effected my life to no avail. i look at my wife and i dont want to even hug her. i just tell her i am busy or just try to stay at work late. this is even effecting work . if i go to counseling my wife will find out.
Seriously. I don't know where you are reading these symptoms, but those symptoms are NOT typical of herpes. If you had these symptoms with herpes, you would get them in conjunction with a herpes outbreak, and you have NO SORES.
Do you know if you've ever had a cold sore? If you have, you have hsv1. Well over half of the population has this. I don't know how old you are, but its about 50% by the time you are 30. It goes up from there.
If you have oral hsv1, the chances of you getting genital hsv1 is next to nothing. Add that you used a condom with someone who didn't have any oral sores, and you don't have herpes.
YOU DO NOT have an std. You do NOT have HIV. What you have is an obsession fueled by guilt. You need to seek therapy for this, not more testing.

A few facts first - once you have herpes, you always have herpes, whether or not you still get symptoms. The number - 1 or 2 - denotes the strain of the virus, not the location. Its possible to get genital type 1 from oral sex - it wouldn't then become type 2 because its genital. Once its type 1, its always type 1, regardless of the location. Also - in referring to herpes, o = oral, g = genital.
Blood tests looking for herpes are looking for antibodies, which are your body's response to a germ. If you have herpes antibodies, you have herpes. Period.
Cold sores on the mouth are caused by hsv1. Many people are infected with this - as I said, well over half, and it goes up as you age. By the time you are in your 70s or 80s, about 80-90% of folks have it. If you've ever had a cold sore, you have hsv1. It doesn't matter if you haven't had one in years, or since you were a kid, etc. You still have hsv1. You still have antibodies.
These antibodies for type 1 offer very strong protection to prevent you from ever getting it in a different location. For example, if you have oral hsv1, and someone with oral hsv1 performs oral sex on you, you probably won't ever get ghsv1. This is especially true if the person performing oral sex on you doesn't have a cold sore at the time.
Hsv2 is very similar in nature and DNA to type 1, but type 2 is almost never oral. Its almost 100% genital. There is a slight chance it could be oral, but its so low that its not generally a concern in regards to oral sex.
I hope this helps. I know its confusing and complex.

i just finished going to a urologist, he did a culture on me for stds again. he also put a camera up my butt but said there is nothing wrong there. my only worry now is hiv and herpes, if i can get through this i can be normal again.

No, I don't think you got herpes, and I know you didn't get HIV. No one ever gets HIV from receiving oral sex.
You really can relax about this.

I can understand why the doc at the clinic didn't see you - you have already been there recently, and right now what you have is guilt and anxiety, not an std, and possibly something going on that is NOT std related. I don't know how many times we can say that.

You do NOT need any other testing, and I have not heard of red scrotum syndrome. A quick google of "red scrotum syndrome" got NO hits. Herpes would NOT cause a red scrotum. What medication did your doctor prescribe? Did he think it was fungal?
The only other medical thing you MIGHT need is an ultrasound of your testicles, but what you really need is some counseling. You are now into obsession. Its really time for you to get some help.
All the testing in the world is NOT going to find an std. An ultrasound might find something in your testicles that could be causing pain, but it WILL NOT be an std.

my last encounter was on june 24, would i have had a outbreak altready? this stresss is really ruining a great 10 year marriage. i feel a little isolated, i dont allow my kids to drink from my same cup anymore, i dont want them sharing any food or anything out of fear i might give them something. i still have the hip, back and some leg pain, along with the red testcles that are sensitive. i asked my urlogist , but many doctors are not up to date with stds, i asked my urologist about my pimple/blister and he said it doesnt appear to be herpes, "the word doesnt appear" doesnt mean its not herpes or hiv. I also read that if a person has a std the chances of aquiring another std like hiv is greater. what if those pros had other stds, i maybe could have gotten HIV from all of this non sense.
Please read Bewildered's post to you. He thoughtfully took the time to share his story, and he has similar symptoms that you have. Its as if you totally didn't read it, or "hear" it, and that's a MAJOR sign of anxiety when you skip the things that might make you feel better.
I'd like to make a deal with you. I will continue to help here, but you really need to make an appt with a counselor, and fast. If you don't do that, I can't help anymore.

all my tests have been negative, but i havent had a herpes test until now.and because of my june 24 protective oral contact with a disgusting pro, i will have to test for hiv too. i am so scared right now its not even funny. but if you look at me i am about 6 feet 2 inches and about 225 pounds.

You can NOT get HIV from receiving oral sex, protected or not. It is not biologically possible.

So....anyway....I paid some money to have the doctor from this site answer a few of my questions. The "red scrotum" thing was one of them. The doctor said no STD causes the entire scrotum to be red. STD's show up in patches so to speak. You need to get a cream for your scrotum. Try different ones before you finally find one that works. Thats what I'm doing now. Also, everyday following a shower...I make sure that the scrotum is dry. Having moisture in the area is an invitation for other stuff. Stay away from the body wash. Use something like Ivory soap to wash down there. You are having a reaction to something of some sort. I too have a bump on my scrotum. The darn thing didn't show up until the red scrotum syndrome appeared. I believe the two to be connected some way. As you sort through all of this...make sure you keep busy...that will help in dealing with your concerns. Also......when your alone with your thoughts at night.....pick up a book and read. Bottom line....keep your head up.
Then, at night take all the stress out. You are stressing too much. If you stress that itself a disease. Make sure you do those things. And say never to "Pros". You are lucky god gave you a beautiful family. A Family Is The Tree and you are the "stem".
You are lucky. Follow the procedures carefully. And what Auntiejessi said she is right about counseling. The rest is upto you.

And no, I don't think you need further testing for anything. Gonorrhea, chlamydia and trich will be accurate at a week, and you wouldn't get those with protected oral.

However, I already know I'm going to suffer from the same problem as you even if I get negative test results and I think I'll probably get tested for HIV/Herpes at least 3 times after the 3 month mark. Just letting you know that even smart, upstanding people can let **** like this happen. I still am incredulous it happened to me, and I'm still trying to deal with it, but it's hard. Hopefully everything works out for you, pray for me :)
This didn't "happen to" you. You all made choices, and this is the result. I'm not judging you, but to act as if this is all something you had no control over isn't really accurate.
Control leads me to my next point. You absolutely have control on how you react to this. If you think your reactions are beyond your control, then its time to seek help, as I have said over and over in this thread. You can choose to live in anxiety for the next 3 months, and decide to not trust science and very accurate tests, or you can decide that you made a mistake, learn from it, don't repeat it, and move ON.
You can choose to get it together enough to get counseling when you need it.

I have a question for you. as you know my june 24 oral encounter , my blood work for hiv was yesterday july 22. almost a month. is that enough time for a hiv test. i will test again on month 2-6 to make sure.

Herpes symptoms vary from person to person, but you would have already had an outbreak with these pains if they were from herpes.

remember when i told you, the doctor at teh std clinic didnt want to see me , because i had went several times, well all he told me to do was uriniate in a cup for ghoneeria and chlymidia, i went to the std clinic to get my results and they told me it was negative. i then requeste to see the doc just to ask him about a pimple i have in the scrotum, he looked at me and said , listen, i am about the call a psyhiatrist to have you evaluated, he said thats pimple is not a herpe. i then left. people can be so rude and intolerable sometimes. i told him i already had an appt to see a psychiatrist on august 8 , so he let me go. i dont think i will go to that clinic anymore.
june 24 was the exposure , july 16 was the test, is that a good inidcation its negative, were the tests done too quickly?
i know have been tested several times with negative results, but i read that if you do it too early, you might not catch it.

also , about epididimitis, i dont think i got tested for NGU, i read on the internet that you need to request a NAAT test, but the clinicians in the std clinic said that a swab test can indicate if i have ngu. they are getting kinda upset with me now. i dont understand why would anyone get upset at a person trying to find out what stds this might be. i am trying really hard to cope with this problem. people are very intolerable to peoples needs.

You can test for gonorrhea and chlamydia at a week post exposure and get an accurate result. A swab test can also find NGU.
I think people are frustrated because it seems you aren't listening. I know its fear, and guilt, but you are just not at risk for the things you think you are, like HIV, yet you are so worried about it. I know I've told you what must be a dozen times already that you can't get HIV from receiving oral sex, even without a condom, yet you are still obsessed.
I'm sure you are a normal guy. I just think you are letting your fears and guilt take over, and that's never rational.

i just got gome today and when i took off my shirt, i saw two big pimples on my back. they were located on my lower right back, closer to the side. i popped both of them because they had some pus.
do you know if syphillis can occur on your back?

I think you need to call your regular doctor and ask for anxiety meds. I don't know how much more of this you can do while you wait for your appt on the 8th.
Perhaps your doctor can pull some strings and get the appt sooner.

Were you tested for all STDs when you visited your clinic or only for some? The testicular pain might indicate trichomoniasis, a parasite that creates discomfort in the urethra and testicular pain. I think you'll get more peace of mind if you go back to the clinic get tested or ALL possible diseases so you can get treated accordingly.

I was amazed at this, but facts from a government owned site can be believed. There are too many sites out there that have 'myths' or false information on them.
I also read this (which I knew anyway) - "Although scientists have found hiv infected cells in the saliva, they have never managed to, or found a way in which hiv from saliva can infect another person."
That basically means that when testing on animals, they have never managed to get one infected animal (granted they have to use a virus extremely similar to HIV, but an animal version) to infect another through saliva. Also, there has never been any reported cases of HIV through saliva in humans.
So, considering the facts, and the fact that each time you have had your encounters with the Pro's, you have used a condom - we can quite clearly say you DO NOT HAVE HIV. its impossible.

Secondly, the back/lower abdomen pain that you both seem to experiencing...
When the fetus is in the womb, it always starts out as a female. The testicles, or what will come to be the testicles start up near the kidneys and as the fetus develops, they drop down through the body and into the scrotum. (this is why sometimes babies are born and one/both or their testicles may not have dropped).
As the testicles drop, they drag with them nerves and nerve centres which are connected to the lower abdomen, back, thighs, groins etc. The same applies for women with their ovaries - strange I know, but true.
This is why when a guy is kicked in the nuts, you get a massive aching pain in your lower abdomen.
So, when their is discomfort or irritation of the testicles, it is INCREDIBLY common to feel much discomfort in the lower back/abdomen etc etc.
Now, by the sounds of things, as I said at the beginning, the back pain is probably caused by a bacterial infection that you and your wife are passing between each other. You do not have herpes or anything else as you have been screened for it so don't even think about worrying about that.
Also, I know you have been tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea, these are too bacterial infections. There ARE bacteria's which don't show up on the tests and don't have names (I know this as the head of urology at my local hospital told me this when I had a bacterial infection).
When I had a bacterial infection, I started on cefalexine, then went to amoxicilin, then doxy, then cipro, and a few others and none of them worked. I had back pain, lower abdomen pain, muscle aches, pains in the penis, extremely sore testicles. After test after test the urologist eventually told me - right, you have a bacterial infection, we don't know what so we're basically stabbing in the dark. After a few more trials of other antibiotics they eventually put me on Ofloxacin 400mg tablets 3x a day for a full month. A full month later and the pain was gone and I was feeling fine.
I would say that you are experiencing exactly what I had, I also had the odd panic here and there thinking the worse when in fact, the 'worse' are the ones the doctors rule out and check for first.
Also, my girlfriend developed pains too - we were throwing the bacteria too and from one another.
Stop worrying Roldan and chillout a bit. Yeah you may be in some pain or discomfort, but your not dying, you don't have HIV and you don't haver herpes, and by the fact your wife has started back pains then it certainly does sound like a bacteria.
Oh, and before you go thinking you've given it her, or she has given it to you - the bacteria live inside most peoples bodies all their lives and never bother them, but in some cases - i.e my own, for some reason they get out of sync with the other bacteria on your body and begin to multiply and begin to cause the pain. It happens naturally and is quite popular. Don't go accusing your wife of cheating if this is what it is (but your not exactly in a position to do so).
I hope you understand what I'm getting at and i hope you manage to chill out a bit Roldan - you really need to, and you really need to show some affection to your wife rather than avoiding her.

OK I did a little quick counting, so forgive me if its off a little.
In the last 6 weeks, you have:
* been to 4 urologists appointments, and I think there were at least 2 different urologists
* seen your GP at least twice
* been to 3 std clinics
* been to the ER
This means you have been seen at least 10 times by doctors in 6 weeks. (People with cancer don't even get this much medical treatment.)
You have had 7 HIV tests, at least 7 urine or swab tests for stds, 3 syphilis tests, 1 herpes blood test, an ultrasound of your testicles, 2 prostate exams, including an imaging of it, and have been turned away by a clinic for testing.
I can't imagine what this has cost you monetarily, but its costing you big time emotionally.
This is NO longer a physical issue. This is a mental health issue - a big one. At least 7 people here have shared their expertise and experiences with you and you are NOT listening to them.

It's not the easiest of infections to diagnose as the symptoms are fairly vague and be all sorts of NONE DANGEROUS infections...Like I said with me, the doctors will be stabbing in the dark with this now - Cipro is used for infections which seem to be resistant to other weaker antibiotics. Keep taking as the doctor prescribed and it will hopefully clear up. Make sure you DO NOT miss a dosage!

i would like to ask some more questions please.

3 years later went to a massage parlor, I told my self I would not do, but my friends they convinced me, messed up again, got no STD....Asked god for forgiveness.
2 years after that ( This year ) , got a protected oral...Got Urinary Infection, and HIV ...God won't forgive me this time.

You need to stop worrying and start thinking more logically. If you had an infection of some kind it would have most likely have been found by now.
Also, you had oral sex with a condom on, right? Now unless you know of some sort of super disease with big sharp teeth that can be harbored in someone's mouth and then eat its way through a condom, I'd bet my bottom dollar that you have not got and STD. In fact, the doctors who are treating you KNOW that.
What you need to look at now is your Anxiety. GAD or Generalised Anxiety Disorder, which affects many people so don't go thinking your dying again. GAD has many physical symptoms as well as the psychological ones. It causes pain, muscle aches -
"lets say you have hip pain, leg pain, thigh pain and lower to middle back pain, the pain is not excruciating but you can tell they are there , kind of like dull aches. you dont think i got hiv from that exposure, do you think that is a sign for herpes"
ETC, so like we've all said from the start, stop fretting so much and CHILL a bit more.
I'm not disputing that you have testicular pain, but that pain is probably helping feed your anxiety which is then causing your discomfort and thus having a viscous circle.

when i first had testicle pain in early may it was a sever pain for like 1-2 hours, they it went away and became a dull ache. sometime around middle july my testicle pain went away. it was non existent. i didnt take meds, it just went away. this was what started it all, and the fact that i stooped to a level that i cant even comprend why.

Anxiety becomes a very vicious circle with the eventual physical symptoms beginning to feed the anxiety itself - making you worried, depressing you, making you feel rubbish, etc. So now you have realized what you are doing, you will be able to begin to get to the end of all this.
Just to clarify and stop you worrying further - I think you said you tested positive for HSV-1 earlier (I really cba looking) - coldsores caused by HSV-1 are brought out be stress. You have been stressing constantly so its no surprise you have a coldsore - but don't fret!! LOL
The advice on getting a therapist is exactly what you need. I don't know whether to tell you to research it on the net - but do look into factors that cause anxiety to worsen, like too much caffeine, little exercise, too much alcohol etc. as this will help you overcome it.

Like I said, now you have realized how bad your anxiety is, you can get to the bottom of it. Also, I know I use this a lot, but I have experienced very bad anxiety, both its physical and mental harshness so I can understand how hard you might find it (in relation to my first post on here!)

AJ- i am alitle nervous now because i took a HIV test and the results are still pending. they said the naat test can pick up symptoms by 2 weeks, wells its been more than a week and they said it still pending. i aslo i have been getting some sores in my mouth lately, but i alwaws had them, but i have a liitle more than usual , first it started in my tongue then my gums, i think they are ulcers.

The cipro can have side effects, so it might be that, or it might be panic that is causing the dizziness.
You need to go to the psychiatrist, and you need to be completely honest. You aren't crazy, but it is crazy to not get the help you need. I think its good that even if you don't think you need it, you will go for your family. :) That's a sign that you are a good man.

You do not have anything. You need to keep your appointment with the thearpist and that is all that needs to be done. I have a fear that when you go for the negative HIV results that you are going to faint before you even get the results.
Please do this for me, look in the mirror and take some deep breaths and tell yourself you are a good person. Good people make mistakes and your reaction you are having to protected oral sex is hurting your health. Think of your daughter and wife, if you do not get control of yourself you are going to cause more hardship on them then they deserve. You do not have an STD, you have had zero symptoms. You are a good person but made a mistake. Everyone has made mistakes, but remember you are a good person. Go to thearpy and talk about it, learn from it. Rededicate yourself to your family. And yes, if you feel hard enough, you could be feeling lymph nodes, but that doesn't mean you have an infection, and you don't even know if you are feeling lymph nodes or something else.

AJ- i just came back from the therapist, we had a one hour session, it went well, and he told me to calm down and state everything that has happened. he also said that this was confidential. i spilled the beans. i told him everythng with great pain, almost teary eyed, but i kept my composure, in all my years of being a tough guy, i seem to have proved i was never the tough guy everyone thinks i am. i am physically fit, play many sports and yet i am weak minded. the therapist said that i may need anxiety meds, but i dont want to take meds, but we will see. i have spent over 1000.00 on medical expenses pertaining to this. i dont want to go through insurance. i told the doc this. i basically just talked and he listened, my next visit will be next friday.
AJ- i want to take another HIV test and syphillis test becasue of the 3 month window period. i am going on vacation in the first week of september. i am going to disney world with the family. i hope i can get my 3 month results by then, septmember would be about 87 days, is this enough time?

i have something that resembles a sore throat , but its not actually a sore throat, when i swallow my own slaiva it seems like i have a sore throat, but when i eat food or drink, i cant feel it. its like having something irritating the back.
my herpe on the cheek seems like its going away, my mouth ulcers are still here an are painful. i recently chcked my body for anything else, all seems normal except scrotum , its still mildly red but its not irritiaitng. With ARS symptoms, do you always get the flu?

And is it really not back yet, or have they not called? I would call them and ask for an explanation - did they lose the test, have someone out sick, what. Its been too long, and my guess is that they either have it and haven't called, maybe its sitting on someone's desk who is on vacation, etc.

Vance- my throat does actually hurt, i am not one to make something up, everytime a swallow it slightly hurts, but when i eat food or drink it does not. could i have had a ulcer in the back of my tongue? i had ulcers in the mouth recently , and they are almost healed. could it be that?

When have you ever heard of blood being invisible? Bllod is red you see it, it does not play tricks on you. Have you ever cut yourself and blood started to come out but then became invisible? No of course not, you see blood. But all of this is mute because you wore a condom.
YOU DO NOT HAVE AN STD. STD's do not hide and then magically appear out of no where. You have been tested and you are clean.

This thread has 166 comments now. That has to be a record. You had no risk, and yet you are perceiving this as if you shared a needle with someone who has HIV.
I don't know what else to do for you. Blood or no blood, you had protected oral sex. That means that even if that person had blood in her mouth, it COULDN'T have gotten into your blood stream.
So, to recap, you don't have syphilis, you can't have HIV. I'm sure you are freaking your wife out, and you are now in therapy. If you can't see that your thought patterns are destructive, then I don't know what else we can do for you.

And taking meds is not a bad thing. Maybe back in the 1920's but we have come a long why since then.
I would not give it thought I would get on them ASAP. To keep living a productive life you need help and meds will help you.
What would be making me crazy is my husband asking me all the time if I am ok, and not explaining it, and if I found out he was struggling with anxiety or OCD, and didn't do anything reasonable like take meds, I'd probably lose my mind. :)

ok , i already told you that HIV test is still pending, MY syphillis test came back negative today post 34 days exposure. i know what you might say, but i will ask one more time. 34 days for syphillis is kinda short of the 45 days for a syphillis test to be conclusive, do you think it is possible to pick it up at 34 days or should i go one more time tomorrow just to be certain . tomorrow would be 48 days post exposure.

also, if i am hiv negative at this time, my only other solution has to be syphillis, i have had symptoms of syphillis, i mean i had a pimple on my scrotum could of been a chancre, i dont know. doc said no, but maybe he was wrong. when i got that pimple , i had burning sensation in my back, hips/ legs/ thigh. i still have the back pain, also i occasinally have hip/pelvic pain, and my armpit nodes are hurting. do you know the exact location of armpit nodes, i feeel something. when i put my arms tightly together thats when i feel some discomfort. i contantly look for the nodes and i am not sure if i feel a node or something else.
no one can explain my severe testicle pain that lasted a few hours, after that episode on may 9 , i got other pains. my testicle pain is non existent at this point, but there are no explanations.
You were tested for syphillis and it is negative. Please just accept the fact that you do not have an STD. Every ache and pain you have is because of your mind. You have told yourself for months that you have an STD when you really don't. You need to get over this and stop finding things wrong because nothing is wrong with you.
Dr's are not going to lie to you about test results, they are not going to make mistakes in labs. Dr's are there to help us when we are sick and you are not sick.
Stop examining yourself because you are not a professional, you are a man who has a lot of guilt and will do anything to find something wrong with himself.
I don't know whatelse can be said on here that is going to make you believe myself, AJ and several other people who have tried everything they could to make you believe that you are ok? I don't know what is going to make you believe Dr's?
I have become very worried for you and your family, not because of an STD, but because you are so obsessed with this that I believe you have neglicted your family. And I am also worried given your mental state that you are going to harm yourself.
Please make sure you continue sessions with your therapist because no one on here can give you any help if you refuse to take the advice we are giving you.
Remember you have been tested for STD several times and everytime they are negative and you will not get a positive test result no matter how many times you take the test. You need to stop looking for symptoms and live life with a great family you have.
Besides which, if you had syphilis long enough to get a sore (which wouldn't be a pimple, by the way), you would most likely have antibodies by now. A syphilis sore, on average, takes 3 weeks to appear. It would also last at least a few weeks if you didn't get treatment.
YOU DON'T HAVE SYPHILIS. YOU DON'T HAVE HIV. YOU DON'T HAVE ANY STD.
That's the only way I can say it. You can't have gotten HIV from any of this, and you are wasting your time, your money, and your mental health is suffering.
Every single test you have taken is negative. There are no more tests to take that you don't need.
I have no idea what is causing your armpit pain, but its not an std. Might be *gasp* stress or *gasp* anxiety.
My post to this will make this 181. That's ridiculous. Its time to end this, Roldan. You need mental health help. You need meds. We have tried time and again, and we aren't getting through, so maybe we aren't the place you need to seek help.
