I was diagnosed with trichomonas and bv a few months ago, was treated, but my partner claimed to test negative when he went to the doctor to be checked. This was very suprising to me, as we always used condoms, and I wasnt sleeping with anyone else. After everything was resolved, we abstained for another 3 months. I only recently began sleeping with him again, and have noticed symptoms a few weeks later. My main question is: can a man carry trichomonas for several months, but test negative? And how likely is transmission when a condom is used?
