chances of bump being the herpes

i had unprotected vaginal sex about 5 months ago with someone i knew but not sure about sexual history.  i didn't notice anything visual wrong with her, but i just developed a pretty large bump on my groin/inner thigh under my scrotum.  i have been worried about herpes since that encounter so i started to examine it, hoping to find an ingrown hair or something.  i tried to pop it but only blood came out.  i have been reading different questions and comments about herpes. and it seems that it usually comes in clusters not just one but if anyone can give me some advice it would be appreciated.

You've had this bump for 5 months? Have you seen a doctor about it?  If it was hard and blood came out from picking at it it's not likely to be herpes anyways.
