is it possible not to get infected with cold sore virus if i take antiviral medicine after exposure? how long does it take to have symptoms or outbreaks after exposure?
That's possible, but we don't have any studies backing this up. Have you ever been tested to see if you already have it? Most do, but only about 20-40% of those infected will ever have a cold sore.
